Hello again! Today I was on my way to lunch when I saw this sign on the street. I guess it's supposed to advise drivers that there is a man on the street holding a sign. I like to think that there could have been a whole number of signs preceding that one advising that there is a sign of a man holding a sign ahead, then a sign advising that there is a sign  advising that there is a sign of a man holding a sign up ahead, and so on... Regardless, there was no man holding a sign and thus the sign was open to reinterpretation... The thing about street signs is that they're pretty contextual. As soon as they are out of their key environment (like at a wedding or in the middle of a jelly or something) they can break free of their original programming and become something so, so wonderful.
