Welcome to another addition of roastytoasty! I’ve been in a nautical mood all week possibly due to this harsh Winter weather shivering my timbers so much. As such, that’s where my mind wandered to this week and this is what it found. I did a bit of research into the actual drunken sailor song but found it quite hard to get a definitive listing of the lyrics to the song. The more I researched the harder they were to track down. It was almost as if they didn’t want to be found… I can only imagine the terrible things that the drunken sailor must have gone through in the original text. This one’s for him…
